Japanese noodle resaurant and bar Wagamama is looking to open a new outlet here in West Bridgford, with the Sleepers store on Central Avenue now having an approved planning application from the company. The 300 sq. metre restaurant will employ 32 people and include an outside seating area.
Statement from Ruchcliffe Borough Council:
Last night (12 Sept) Rushcliffe BC’s development control committee approved an application submitted on behalf of Wagamama on 20 Central Avenue, West Bridgford for the use of the property as a restaurant.
The supporting information submitted with the application describes Wagamama as an award-winning operator and the applicants say the new restaurant will create 32 new jobs. Information available indicates that the restaurant will open until 11pm Monday to Saturday or until 10.30pm on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
