Let the battle commence

The battle to open Splendour in front of 20,000 people at Wollaton Park on Saturday 19 July is hotting up – with West Bridgford songstress Joy Mumford down to the last six.

The six final acts are now preparing to win over the Future Sound of Nottingham top music industry judges and a live audience when they take to the Rock City main stage on June 22. With half of the vote being decided by the public on the night, fans are being urged to make their voices heard at the Rock City final, a free event open to 14+ with no ticket required.

If you would like to see Joy Mumford in action right here in West Bridgford she will be playing at Belle & Jerome on Friday 27 June.

Splendour

Brit award-winner Tom Odell and party legends The Happy Mondays are headlining the main stage with the soaring anthems of Saint Raymond and the pulsing ska fusion rhythms of The Beat in close support with Scouting for Girls, Foxes and Ron Pope.
