The West Bridgford Christmas lights will be switched on this Saturday (29th November) on Central Avenue. The free family event will start at 9am and will include a festive market with over 50 stalls, a children’s fairground as well as lots of great offers and special events at local shops and cafes. There will also be lots of live music throughout the day including:

2pm – 2.30pm YouNG performer showcase
2.30pm – 3pm West Bridgford Rock Choir

The lights will be switched on at 5pm by the Mayor of Rushcliffe and Dino and Pete from Capital FM, followed by a finale firework show.
Please note: Central Avenue gets very busy in the countdown to the big switch on. For a family-friendly location to view the fireworks head to Bridgford Hall, just behind West Bridgford Library.
