The cold weather is here and the nights are getting darker which can only mean that the Christmas season is upon us and Christmas Events in West Bridgford are set to be in full swing.
Christmas Lights Turn-on 21st November from 9am
This year the West Bridgford light turn-on is being combined with the Gordon Road Christmas Fayre to create a giant ice themed extravaganza for the whole family to enjoy.
Gordon Road will be turned into a winter wonderland complete with Santa Grotto, with Central Avenue holding a food and gift market, children’s fayre and a stage for live entertainment. Put the date in your diary and book your favourite local restaurant to sample their Christmas menu before or after the event.

Lights turned on 5pm followed by firework display
The Riverbank Christmas Market – 6th December 11am-5pm
Once again The Riverbank will be opening their doors for a Christmas Market full of decorations, gifts and food for you to buy. Entry is free.
Alongside this there will be a barbecue, mulled wine and festive music. A perfect way to spend a Sunday in West Bridgford.
