Keith Wright the Chairman of the Lady Bay Open Gardens Committee said “It has been a great weekend and a brilliant outcome. Thank you all so much for all the time and effort that you have put in to make 2016 Open Gardens a huge success.”
“It was a fantastic weekend and the atmosphere inside the beautiful gardens, as well as on the streets in between, was warm and so friendly. It was great to see changes in the wonderful gardens which have opened for us before, plus get an exciting peek into the gardens which opened for the first time.”
The Open Gardens committee will be holding a post event meeting on Monday 1st August 8pm which is open to anyone considering opening their garden or joining the volunteer committee (email keith.wright48@btinternet.com for details). The date for next year’s Open Gardens has been set for 8-9 July 2017.
