The West Bridgford Christmas Lights Switch On takes place on Saturday 25th November 2016. There will be seasonal festivities throughout the day leading up to the big switch on at 5pm by the Mayor of Rushcliffe, followed by a firework finale.
This year there is a new addition – a FREE mini ice skating rink! Find it on Gordon Square on Saturday 26 November 12pm – 6pm. Skating will be free and slots can be booked on the day.
Lots of other attractions will be down on Gordon Square and Central Avenue including a YouNG Market with stalls by local young entrepreneurs, as well as lots of festive street theatre and music. Don’t slip up and miss out on the action!

As a result of the switch on Central Avenue and Gordon Square will be closed to all non-event traffic from 6am until 8pm. Buses that run along Central Avenue will be diverted by Bridgford Road (alongside Rushcliffe Contact Centre/ West Bridgford Police Station).
