Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a teenager was left with serious head injuries following an assault in West Bridgford.
The victim was in South Road, at about 11.30pm last night (Thursday 21 June 2018), when a car pulled up with four people inside. Two men got out and assaulted the teenager, hitting him over the head with a baseball bat and stabbing him in the head with a screwdriver. They then left the scene in the car.
The teenager was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment and has subsequently been discharged.
The suspects are described as black and were wearing parkas with fur around the hood.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to get in touch, including any motorists with any dash-cam footage of the incident.
