‘Holy Calzone’, a new pizza restaurant and cafe, is opening this weekend in West Bridgford. It is taking over a former Methodist Church in Trent Boulevard, Lady Bay. The building was previously empty, after the closure of cycle cafe Spoke & Co last November.
To celebrate, the restaurant will be throwing its doors open on Saturday 22nd September for pizza and much more!
Proprietor Nigel Garlick said: “Our overall concept, like all our venues, is to offer exceptional products, awesome service but without taking ourselves too seriously.”
“Holy Calzone will be heavily inspired by the pizza joints and laid back bars of the West Coast of America. A quick bite or a special treat; in big groups or on your own, we should be able to cater for all your needs and most importantly you always leave happy.”
Holy Calzone will be open everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8am-10pm. Alongside pizza, the menu will feature craft beer, wine, gelato, charcuterie and cheese boards.
