Two teenagers have pleaded guilty to robbery, theft and attempted robbery in connection with a series of bicycle thefts in West Bridgford.
The two 15-year-old boys, who can’t be named for legal reasons, appeared at Nottingham Youth Court yesterday (Wednesday 6 February 2019).
They admitted stealing bikes from two boys in West Bridgford on 6 April 2018 and attempting to steal a bike from a 45-year-old man on a cycle path between Wilford Lane and Compton Acres on 7 April 2018.
One of the boys also admitted a robbing a 12-year-old boy of his bike, in North Road, on 27 March 2018, and the other boy admitted robbing a 14-year-old boy of his bike, in Northwold Avenue, on 29 March 2018.
Both boys were released on unconditional bail. One is next due to appear for sentencing at Nottingham Youth Court on 6 March 2019. The other is due to appear for sentencing at Nottingham Youth Court on 17 July 2019.
