Plans are already under way for the 28th annual Lady Bay Open Gardens to be held from 1pm – 5pm on 6 and 7 July 2019. The volunteer committee are asking for Lady Bay residents to submit a yes, no or maybe by emailing the chairman, Tony on papthepole@googlemail.com. The deadline for entries is 5 May 2019.
The organisers are aiming to build on the amazing success of previous years and raise even more money for charities and other local good causes. Proceeds will go to the Lady Bay Community Fund, Leonard Cheshire Disability and various charities nominated by garden owners. Last year, the event raised over £7,800.
The events Chair, Tony Papkiewicz said “2018 was another successful year due to the fantastic range of gardens that were open and the variety of activities and entertainment on offer over the weekend. The community spirit and wonderful gardens helps make this event one the highlights in the Lady Bay year!”
