  • The Hook junior play area, Lady Bay
  • Oaktree Close, Lady Bay
  • Adbolton Grove, Lady Bay
  • Abbey Park, Buckfast Way
  • Alford Road
  • Bridgford Road basketball court
  • Bridgford Road, teen park
  • West Park, Loughborough Road
  • Boundary Road
  • Denton Drive
  • Greythorn Drive

It follows play parks at Rushcliffe Country Park and Bridgford Park in West Bridgford being closed on Monday (March 23).

Parish Councils in Rushcliffe have also been advised to close play areas by the authority wherever possible.

Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Executive Manager for Communities Dave Mitchell said: “Park users and all residents’ health is of paramount importance.

“For now the main park areas will remain open for physical exercise and dog walking but please observe social distancing measures to help reduce the transmission of coronavirus by avoiding large gatherings.

“We will monitor the situation in the coming days and weeks in line with the government’s advice.
