Copper has become established as one of West Bridgford’s favourite venues for everything from breakfast to a night out with friends. Doors open at 8am for a comprehensive breakfast menu, as well as teas, coffees and juices. The entire breakfast menu is available to eat in or takeaway until noon. They then serve a wide variety of food and drink throughout the day until 9pm, including light bites, main meals, afternoon teas, cream teas and cakes. The menu is complemented with craft beers, a great wine list and a good selection of something slightly stronger, including speciality house cocktails.
On warmer days, the outside seating is popular and south-facing so remember to prepare for the sun! Copper can be found on Central Avenue in the heart of West Bridgford – very handy for shops, Bridgford Park and just a short walk from Trent Bridge.
The main bar is downstairs but take a minute to seek out the stairs towards the back and you’ll find the Upstairs Lounge. It’s designed as a ‘grown up’ environment with plush seating and extra power sockets for laptops and tablets. The Upstairs Lounge is also available for private hire for weddings, birthdays or other events. It can accommodate up to 50 people seated – please contact a member of management in advance of your preferred date.
Live music is every Thursday (9pm) and Sunday (7pm) when the city’s favourite musicians play their choice of acoustic tracks for your enjoyment. Please see our events page to find out who is playing in the next few weeks.
