Missing – Gretta Ford
Have you seen 79-year-old Gretta Ford? Officers are concerned for her safety after she was reported missing from the Cotgrave area at 11.30am on Friday 6 July 2018. Gretta is described as white, shoulder length straight hair down to shoulders, 5ft 4ins tall, wearing a patterned cream shirt, oriental patterned dark trousers and had a black handbag with a strap.

**UPDATE** We know that Gretta caught a bus into West Bridgford which she got off on Central avenue at approximately 12:30hrs on 06/07/2018 outside Boots wearing the same clothing and very large sunglasses ( as per the picture) There has been a possible further sighting in the train Station today 07/07/2018 at 12:30 hrs at this point she wasn’t wearing sunglasses but was wearing a straw hat.
If anyone sees a female fitting the description please call in and make police aware, if approached the female will not come across as confused for the first few minutes but it will quickly become clear that she suffers from dementia.
Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a teenager was left with serious head injuries following an assault in West Bridgford.
The victim was in South Road, at about 11.30pm last night (Thursday 21 June 2018), when a car pulled up with four people inside. Two men got out and assaulted the teenager, hitting him over the head with a baseball bat and stabbing him in the head with a screwdriver. They then left the scene in the car.
The teenager was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment and has subsequently been discharged.
The suspects are described as black and were wearing parkas with fur around the hood.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to get in touch, including any motorists with any dash-cam footage of the incident.

Please be aware that between 23rd January and 1st February 2018 West Bridgford Police have taken seven (7) reports of fuel tanks being drilled and fuel drained off in the following locations:
Northwold Avenue, Linksfield Court, Earlswood Drive, Lansdowne Drive, Loughborough Road, Boxley Drive (all West Bridgford) and Templeman Close, Ruddington.
Vehicles currently targeted have been a 2 x Vauxhall Zafiras, Peugeot 206, Fiat 500, Nissan Note, Ford Focus and a Nissan Qashqai. All victims report this has taken place overnight. It is likely that this is not a quick job for the offenders; whereby having to drill your tank and place containers underneath to collect the fuel as it drains, before returning to collect the containers. If you hear any noises outside, or your security light illuminates, please look out your window to see what has caused this, checking that nobody is near or under your vehicle.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing Wilford man and are appealing to the public for help.
Michael Bugg, 39, has not been seen since leaving the Southbank Bar in West Bridgford at around 1.10am on Sunday, 21 August 2016.
Extensive searches are being carried out in the area adjacent to the River Trent. Specialist boat teams have also been deployed to assist with the search.
Det Ch Insp Karen Pearson of Nottinghamshire Police said: “It is very out of character for Mr Bugg to go missing.
“He has had no contact with family or friends and has not attended work – all of which is causing concern for those who know Mr Bugg.
“We have a large number of officers and specialist teams working to try and locate Mr Bugg today. However, the public could be our greatest asset.
“We are asking for anybody who may have heard from him to get in touch. We are also asking for people maybe out walking dogs in the area to keep an eye out
“We would also urge everyone to look at the picture of Mr Bugg and to let us know if they have seen him since the last sighting.”
Mr Bugg is described as white and around 5ft 7ins tall. He is of medium build with short, light brown hair and was wearing a blue shirt, dark grey trousers and brown shoes.

Nottinghamshire Police wish to identify a female that was in the area of Stratford Road, West Bridgford at around 8pm last night (Thursday 18th August 2016).
This female was asked by an elderly lady to give guidance to a male of how to get to the Lady Bay area.
This female may be a significant witness to an offence and Police wish to speak with her.

Officers searching for a missing West Bridgford girl are asking the public to look out for her.
Gabrielle, 16, from West Bridgford, has not been seen since leaving her home yesterday afternoon (14 March 2016) and officers are concerned for her welfare.
Update: Gabrielle has been found safe and well 16/03/2016
She is described as white and around 5ft 3ins tall with long, blonde hair. She may have been wearing black leggings, a sweat shirt and grey Ugg-style boots.
It is believed she may have travelled to the Derby area.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned about the welfare of a woman, who went missing earlier today (Thursday 4 December 2014).
Rachel Kellett, 31, from West Bridgford is described as 5 ft 6 ins tall with short brown hair. It is believed that she may have been wearing a dark blue coat when she went missing.She was last seen at 7.30am by her husband.
